Swindon Open Studios is a fantastic annual opportunity to get to meet local artists, see where they work and find out more about them. There are opportunities to buy Original Artwork and a whole range of different art styles and mediums to peruse at a variety of venues across Swindon.
Eastcott studios were again proud to have SOS artists joining us at the studios to exhibit throughout the two open weekends and were thrilled that, despite this year's very wet weekends, more than 250 intrepid locals dropped in to meet us, many purchasing original artwork and ceramics from our artists :) In addition to work made by students and visitors to Eastcott Studios being displayed, artists for 2018 exhibiting at Eastcott Studios included:

WORKSHOPS & CLASSES
GENERAL Pottery hand building - 'drop in' (no need to book) every Tues, Wed: 10.30am-12, 12.30-2pm and 4.30-6pm PLUS every Mon, Tues, Wed: 6.30-8.30pm (ADULTS ONLY after 6pm)
POT THROWING TASTER (using a potters wheel, please book online) - every Tues and Wed 4-5pm, 5.15-6.15pm PLUS Mon 7.30-8.30pm. Weekend sessions also available.
POT THROWING EXPERIENCES - Throw at least 6 pots using different weights and two different throwing techniques
POTTERY EXPERIENCE DAYS - Try each of the three different hand-building techniques PLUS a pot throwing taster
GLASS FUSION - Book up for one of our monthly workshops, ideal for beginners or improvers
STONE CARVING workshops
POTTERY PAINTING or GLAZING your pots - 'Drop-in' to any GENERAL Pottery hand building
